Katrina, how do you get your pictures blurry in the background and in focus on the object you want it to? I need to learn that trick :) (or atleast how to set my camera to do that!)
Kelly - all the credit goes to my awesome camera! I got a new Sony Cybershot for Mother's Day and all the cool editing is done right on the camera. After you take the picture you go to the menu and select 1 of 10 editing features. I mostly use the "soft focus" which blurs everything but your chosen focus point, or the "retro" feature that made these balloon pictures have a dark fuzzy edge to them. Then the pictures go stright from my camera to the blog!
Check your camera manual and see what yours can do!
Awesome, I have the same camera (I just got it too!) I thought it was a setting that was done prior to taking the picture. Good to know. Thank you! By the way, I love your photography :)
