We love 'em! Especially when we get to pick 'em!

This is our newest tradition for the 4th of July weekend, and this was both Ewan and Violet's first year. Although, Ewan was somewhat with us last year. :)

I just realized the pink hat has made it with us 2 years in a row now! Funny.

11 Months

Ewan is 11 months old today! Early this morning, I was able to capture his latest trick of getting off the couch all by himself! However, apparently maneuvering the coffee table afterwards comes at 12 months. Just watch...

I can't believe he did that! Don't worry... he's ok!

Nothing bunny and baba couldn't fix.

He is also taking a recovery nap now. :)

We did BBQ and swimming with my family in the morning and fireworks with Jeff's family in the evening.

Can't get enough...

...of the 'Bucks! I have a serious obsession with all things Starbucks. (Look at my Barista here!) Today I got my hands on one of these hot commodities... the new insulated, re-usable, "green", must have summer cup! I love it.

I can afford my obsession thanks to the amazing hook ups from my sister and brother-in-law, loyal baristas since... forever!

Thank you for our never ending supply of coffee and espresso!

Jeff and I would be lost without our lattes. :)

Lazy Days

We're lovin the pool in this hot weather. Ewan is such a water baby... splashing like crazy, dunking his face in the water to blow bubbles, and loving when I float him on his tummy so he can kick and paddle!

My fam joined us for a pool day yesterday. After being in the water for 3 HOURS, Ewan fell asleep in the water raft. We fished him out of the pool, wrapped him up like burrito, and took him home to nap with bunny. :)

I'm carpooling to work with Jeff right now, so no pool today. But Ewan is at his Nana's and she told me that they've already set up his blow up pool in the living room. He'll be splashing away by the time lunch rolls around!
