nothin'

Nothing much going on this week.

We stayed in our jammies all day Monday and Tuesday.

.

Yesterday, we had a pizza combo lunch at Costco,

then purchased our millionth jug of apple juice and milk.

I'm seriously thinking of getting an apple tree and cow for our porch!

.

And last night, was laundry night. Which is not a bad thing around here. I loooove doing laundry.

And thanks to Bry, I have a serious obsession with the Downey Ball.

.

Gotta love my constant company... Divot, Ewan and bunny. They're the total package. :)

time to flip

A whole new world was discovered when we flipped Ewan's car seat around for the first time.

This big boy, 15 month old, now gets to face forward in the car.

Lots of pointing and lots of "You should see this, mama!"

...in the form of "eh, eh!" Crazy kid.

Ewan has always had a thing for upside down pacis...

and his bunny. :)

Pobrecito

Had a great day at work today, but came home to a very feverish baby. I just checked his temp at 10pm... 101. I'm waiting up now to check it again and give him more medicine at 11pm. Pobrecito.

And today was my brother Jared's 13th birthday! Ewan got to stay for birthday cake, but after a long day at Grandma's it was time for him and bunny to head home and head straight to bed.

11 Months

Ewan is 11 months old today! Early this morning, I was able to capture his latest trick of getting off the couch all by himself! However, apparently maneuvering the coffee table afterwards comes at 12 months. Just watch...

I can't believe he did that! Don't worry... he's ok!

Nothing bunny and baba couldn't fix.

He is also taking a recovery nap now. :)

Yay for his 1st birthday coming up in a month!

In case of emergency...

This blog should be renamed, all things Ewan AND bunny.

After a little searching, just this week I found bunny's twin!

Same bunny. Same store. As fresh and pretty as the new one is, I actually like the well-worn, off-white, much loved looking bunny. But, we do now have a backup on hand in the event we lose Ewan's best friend. What a relief I tell ya.

And funny story...

Last night, after Ewan fell asleep in his crib, I carefully pulled bunny out from under him and threw him in the washer, as I do every week or so. However, things didn't go as smoothly last night as they usual do. Ewan woke up an hour later, screaming, clawing to find bunny in the crib, in the dark. I ran to pat him back to sleep. No luck. No luck for over an hour!

I gave Ewan every other stuffed anumal we have in the house. Specifically ones that have the same type of fur as bunny trying to "pull one over" on him.

.

Nope. Didn't work.

.

By midnight, I finally handed him a soaking wet bunny, washed and clean mind you, but no time to dry. Ewan was relieved. And fell asleep within minutes. Made me think... WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO IF WE EVER LOSE BUNNY?!

.

But I can't think like that...

.

It will NEVER happen...

.

Must think happy thoughts... :)

Ewan has had an obsession with stuffed animals since day one. His favorite is his bunny. He cuddles with it every night, and he especially loves to cover his face with it to sleep.
